From March 20th to 24th, 2024, the German Orchid Society will host the European Orchid Conference 2024 (EOC 2024) as part of the DRESDNER OSTERN trade fair. All interested parties are cordially invited to attend.
Registration as a participant is required to take part in the conference with presentations and a poster show. Registered conference attendees will have access to the exhibition throughout the event, starting at 8:00 a.m., two hours before the general public. Please register as a user on this website first, after that the conference registration will be available. Access to the exhibition is otherwise via the entrance to the fair.
Applicants as exhibitors must also first register as a user of this website, after which the corresponding form will be activated. The application deadline for exhibitors is October 15, 2023.
If you want to act as a judge of the exhibition, you must first register as a participant of the conference. The corresponding form is only available to registered conference participants.
Conference
Participation in the conference is subject to a fee. Early bird bookings must be made by November 30th. The following prices apply per person:

Bookings for partners are included in the main booking, students and pupils must attach proof in digital form.
Posters
An exhibition of scientific posters will take place during the conference. All interested parties, especially young scientists, are hereby invited to apply for presentation of a poster. All topics related to orchids (morphology, physiology, systematics, ecology, conservation, propagation, culture) can be admitted. Poster authors and speakers are exempt from the conference fee. In addition, the European Orchid Council will award the best three posters in the show with the Rudolf Jenny Award. The award is endowed with €300 for first place, €200 for second place and €100 for third place. Registration deadline for posters is December 31, 2023.
Authors of posters should first register for the poster show. Once they have been admitted, they can register for the conference free of charge.
